Artist, engajed primarily in the research of technical images from the point of view of art history and nature phenomenological theories. Associate professor of Art History at the School of Fine Artes in the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Professor at Graduate Dep. Visual Languages research group. Areas of research: philosophy of art, image theory and art theory, particularly theories and histories of photography. Graduate Degree in Art Education (Art History) from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (1999), Specialization in History of Art and Architecture in Brazil (PUC, 2002), Master in Visual Arts at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro ( 2002) and PhD in Visual Arts at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2008) and School of High Studies in Social Sciences / EHESS Paris, France. Has experience in the area of Art, with an emphasis on Fine arts, studying on the following topics: photography, contemporary art, conceptual art, criticism, theory and art history. Structuring teaching core Bachelor of Art History course, EBA-UFRJ. Magazine editor Art & Essays, Graduate Program magazine in visual arts at the School of Fine Arts of the UFRJ. Member of CAA since 2014.
