Felipe Scovino is professor of art history at School of Fine Arts at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He is art critic and curator, as well. He published essays on contemporary Brazilian art in magazines such as: Art Review, Arte & Ensaios, Concinnitas, Flash Art and Third Text. His recent curatorships are: Lygia Clark: a retrospective (Itaú Cultural, 2012, co-curator Paulo Sergio Duarte) and Abraham Palatnik: the painting reinvention (CCBB-DF, 2013; MAM-SP, 2014; MON, 2014; Fundação Iberê Camargo, 2015, co-curator Pieter Tjabbes).
